1. About Three Years

Three Years is a private digital self-reflection experience. It invites you to write a message addressed to the person you were three years ago, with the intention of helping shape the choices you make today and the future you are creating.

The experience is symbolic. Your message is not literally delivered through time, sent to another person, or retained for future delivery.

2. Your Message Is Not Stored by Three Years

The words you enter into the ritual are private. Your message:

• Is not transmitted to Three Years' servers.
• Is not received, read, reviewed, archived, sold, shared, or stored by Three Years.
• Is temporarily held only within your browser while you complete the experience.
• Is removed from the browser session after the ritual is successfully completed.
• Cannot be recovered by Three Years after it disappears.

Your browser may retain a simple device-level record indicating that the ritual has been completed. This record does not contain your message.

Please do not include passwords, financial details, government identification numbers, health records, another person's confidential information, or anything you would not want temporarily present on your device.

3. One-Time Ritual

The Three Years ritual is intended to be performed only once by each person.

You agree not to circumvent, manipulate, reset, or otherwise attempt to defeat the Website's one-time-use mechanism. The ritual relies partly on browser-based technology and your honest participation.

In less formal terms: please do not try to outsmart the system—the universe has seen that trick before.

4. Symbolic Payment

Completing the ritual requires a one-time payment of USD $3, or its displayed equivalent in another available currency.

This payment is a symbolic exchange connected to the digital experience. It is not a donation, investment, financial product, charitable contribution, or payment in return for a guaranteed result.

Applicable currency conversions, bank charges, card fees, or taxes may vary depending on your location and payment method.

5. Stripe Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe, an independent third-party payment services provider. Stripe is the only payment processor directly integrated into Three Years.

Three Years does not directly collect, process, or store your complete card number, security code, banking credentials, or other full payment-method details.

Stripe and the banks, card networks, or service providers involved in processing your payment may collect and process transaction, contact, device, authentication, and fraud-prevention information. Their handling of that information is governed by their own terms and privacy practices, including the Stripe Privacy Policy and Stripe End User Terms.

Three Years may receive limited transaction records from Stripe, such as the payment amount, date, currency, status, and information required for accounting, fraud prevention, refunds, or legal compliance. Your ritual message is never included in the payment transaction or provided to Stripe.

6. Refunds

Because the ritual is an immediately delivered digital experience, payments are generally final once the experience has been completed.

Refunds may still be provided where required by applicable consumer law or when a payment was duplicated or made as a result of a verified technical error.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights available in your country.

7. No Guarantees

Three Years is intended for personal reflection, motivation, creativity, and entertainment. We do not promise or guarantee that:

• A wish, intention, or manifestation will come true.
• Your past, present, or future circumstances will change.
• The experience will produce a specific emotional, personal, professional, spiritual, or financial result.

The symbolic payment does not purchase or increase the likelihood of any promised outcome.

8. Not Professional Advice

The Website does not provide medical, mental-health, therapeutic, legal, financial, spiritual, or other professional advice.

Three Years is not a substitute for professional care or emergency assistance. If you are experiencing distress or believe you may harm yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional immediately.

9. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old—or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction—to make a payment and use the ritual independently.

By using the Website, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes.
• Attempt to interfere with the Website's operation or security.
• Introduce malicious software or automated traffic.
• Reverse-engineer or exploit the Website.
• Circumvent the one-time-use mechanism.
• Use a payment method without the owner's authorization.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the Website, Stripe payment services, other users, or our legal rights.

11. Intellectual Property

The Website's design, branding, text, graphics, interface, code, and other original materials belong to Fortune Four You LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the Website only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, sell, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the Website without written permission.

You retain ownership of the words you write. However, because Three Years does not receive or store your message, you do not grant us a licence to use its contents.

12. Website Availability

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or update any part of the Website at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, permanent, or error-free availability.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, network failures, browser limitations, Stripe availability, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

This section does not exclude warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fortune Four You LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of—or inability to use—the Website.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability relating to the Three Years experience will not exceed the amount you paid for the transaction giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Third-Party Services

The Website may link or redirect you to services operated by third parties, including Stripe. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or independent privacy practices.

Your use of a third-party service may be subject to separate terms and policies.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the Website, our business practices, payment arrangements, or legal obligations change.

The revised version will be posted on threeyears.space with an updated effective date. Continued use after an update means that you accept the revised Terms, where permitted by law.

17. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Fortune Four You LLC, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the laws of your country or place of residence.
